Statement of Work (SOW) Project: Consultant Services for Coaching and Modeling for Teachers
GENERAL INFORMATION
1.0 Scope of Work: To provide professional development and technical assistance to principal to support the effective implementation of existing English language arts and mathematics programs, common core standards and response to invention programs as required by the Navajo District.
2.0 Background: Cottonwood Day School endeavors to enhance its services for continuous school improvement to include consultant services for professional development for teachers, principal, leadership team, and the school board.
CONTRACTOR REQUIREMENTS
3.0 Technical Requirements/Tasks:
The following is the technical requirements/tasks of the consulting services:
Consulting services will include, but are not limited to staff training in the following research based strategies to include support of English Language Arts and Mathematics, Support of Common Core State Standards, Support of Classroom Management and Engagement, and Professional Development for continuous school improvement:
a) Examination of the current focus of support for English Language Arts and Mathematics with focus on data that includes achievement of students relative to the District’s academic priority standards and the State student academic achievement standards, including:
a. Information from all three measures of data:
i. Curriculum,
ii. Instruction, and
iii. Assessment
b) Examination of current focus of support of the Common Core State Standards for:
a. School Leadership
b. Teaching Staff
c. Principal
d. School Board
c) Examination of current focus of support of Classroom Management and Engagement
d) Examination of current focus of support for Professional Development
a. Teachers
b. Whole-School
e) A summary of gaps and needs that were identified using the data listed above
4.0 Government Furnished: The contractor shall require access to Cottonwood Day School in accordance with Cottonwood Day School’s visitor policy and procedures.
5.0 Deliverables / Schedule:
· Tasks and Associated Deliverables: Timely submission of the below deliverable is essential to successful completion of this requirement. All “hard copy” deliverables will be submitted on recycled-content paper, and printed double-sided.

| Monthly, on the 5th of each month by COB |
6.0 Travel: The contractor shall provide services at Cottonwood Day School for two-day monthly site visits. The contractor is responsible for travel reimbursement.
7.0 Contractor’s Key Personnel: Certified and experienced consultants are required to perform services under this contract. Resumes are not required; however, past experience with the BIE school system is recommended.
8.0 Security Requirements: Not applicable. There are no level of clearances required for contract performance.
9.0 Data Rights: Not applicable. No data is being produced, furnished, acquired, or use in meeting contract requirements.
10.0 Section 508 – Electronic and Information Technology Standards: Not applicable. Information Technology is not being acquired with this acquisition.
