Swanson change summary Add Items X-1 to X-4, these Items are added to include areas outside of original payment units and adjacent to roads to address hazard trees. The additional pay items were not included in the original solicitation. This change is based on comments from the pre-bid meeting. Description of the requirements are included in Appendix A Deleted pile measuring scale information in Appendix A and change all biomass removal to a weight scale.

Reduce the timber values to base rates for all species. Changed to B.2.3, Schedule of Items.

Bark Beetle LOP, additional information included in Appendix A under Limited operation periods.

Include SCE Road Use Agreement (attachment) DELETE, Appendix A, F. Non-Work and Resource Protection. 4. Leave all snags over 16 inches in diameter and over 20 feet in height. These snags shall not be pushed over, damaged, disturbed. Piles and stacks shall be placed at least 30 feet from the snag, if possible. Snags that are a safety hazard to operations may be felled.

Dinkey Creek road Hazard Tree abatement is the Priority Item and shall be completed this field season as noted in Appendix A Questions and Answers Water Sources, See Appendix B, K.F.35# and restrictions at K.G.315 Clearing and Grubbing, Appendix D, include, Marked Blue Tees with an “H” are the only trees required for cutting in Item 201.

Salvage Trees. Salvage trees greater than 30” DBH that will not reach the roads shall not be cut.
