Hayfork Janitorial Question and Answer Sheet V2 Q1 - Would it be okay to use cleaning robots to reduce man hours? or if you need 10 janitorial workers, is it okay to dispatch 6-7 workers and 4 robots?

A1 – At this time a cleaning robot will not be allowed but may be considered at a later time and date. The incumbent only uses 1 person at this site.

Q2 - Why was the initial solicitation cancelled?

A2 - The original solicitation was canceled due to Source America, which is a mandatory source stated they may have a source that could fulfil this requirement. I canceled the solicitation while they checked, but they came back and said they didn’t have a source, so the solicitation was reposted on SAM.gov.

Q3 - Are there any other documents that you need besides the quote for consideration?

A3 - Yes, please see provision 52.212-2 for a list of the required documents/information that is required along with pricing. The table of contents is clickable, you can select “The following factors shall be used to evaluate quotes” and it will take you to the provision.

Q4 - Who is the current contractor performing the work?

A4 – The incumbent is Rohrs, Alcidia Maria, Unique Entity ID QJTRHY2ZWNK5, Award 127EAY21P0022 Q5 - What was the previous award amount for the current contractor?

A5 - $11,640.00 Base, $11,640.00 Option year 1 Q6 - Are there any subcontracting limitations?

A6 – Pulled from solicitation pg 5-6: Subcontracting: The Contractor shall alert the Contracting Officer in writing of intent to utilize a subcontractor for work under this contract, prior to entering any subcontract arrangement. The subcontractor shall have the experience and be equipped for such work. The written notification shall include as a minimum: A. The name, address, and telephone number of the subcontractor. B. Detailed description of the work to be subcontracted. C. Documentation of the subcontractor's representative authority. Subcontracting any portion of the contract shall not relieve the Prime Contractor of any responsibility under this contract. Any subcontract agreement shall contain all terms and conditions of the prime contract.
