1. Are the furnaces/evaporator coils inside the home or in an attic or in a crawl space?

RESPONSE: The furnaces and coils are located in closet type rooms in various locations throughout the facility.

2. What are the dimensions of the access openings to get to the furnace/evaporator coil?

RESPONSE: Typical accessible doors provide access to the furnace and coil housing rooms.

3. Where are the condensers located? i.e., ground level, roof?

RESPONSE: Condenser units are at ground level, outside of the facility in various locations throughout the facility.

4. Does the HVAC system have to be a Lenox brand, or can it be similar or better?

RESPONSE: We want Lenox brand, since the project is broken up into base bid and option years.

We do not want mis-matching equipment should option years not be funded.

5. What fuel does the furnaces use Natural gas or propane?

RESPONSE: The site has natural gas.

6. Clarification on type of surge suppression required for each unit. Typically, surge suppression is handled with surge suppression power stirps or surge protection breakers which protect entire panelboards or load centers; is that what is being requested?

RESPONSE: We are looking for surge protectors to be hooked up directly with each compressor unit. Each unit has a power control box that we are essentially seeking to protect.

7. Is it possible to get as-builts of the site for this solicitation?

RESPONSE: There are no as-builts for the building.
