Questions and Answers- 1240LP24Q0021- Laramie RD Solid Waste Collection
1.) Do any of the containers require lids?
That would depend on how the lid fit in with the design. With the dumpsters that are out there currently, there are two small lids for visitors to open and clamp shut (which fits with the required bear proof design) and these two “lids” are constructed on a larger “lid” that the vendor unlocks to dump.
2.) Should All containers be 2 Yard Dumpsters?
Two cubic yards seems to be what our trash collection needs are. We would like for all of the dumpsters implemented to be of the same size. No other size of container will be utilized as an option for this requirement.
3.) Is there a Previous Incumbent? If so, would you mind providing the company and previous award amount?
Republic Services Inc Please refer to FPDS.gov for the most accurate information
4.) What is the budget for the award?
That information is not shared with industry
5.) Is there a site visit planned?
No site visit is planned, it is encouraged that contractors visit the site
6.) Will you need my reps and certs?
Yes please see instructions to offerors and section F of the solicitation.
7.) The base year only shows 35 total dumpsters which is not the same as all the option years of 38. Is that correct or not?
That is correct, there are three sites added in 2025 Lake Owen Boat Launch, Lake Owen TH & FP and Nash Fork CG#2.
