An Integrated Produce Wash System to be custom designed and fabricated to meet our research needs and to fit in our pilot plant. The engineering firm shall provide the following:

A fresh-cut wash produce system consists of an immersion tank, a pump tank, a de-watering shaker, a parabolic filter screen, a spray bar assembly, and a control panel.

- The entire system shall fit into our designated space with the following requirements (due to our space constraints): - The length of the immersion tank no longer than 100 inch, width no wide than 20 inch, with an operating capacity of 100 gallons.

- The length of the de-watering shaker no longer than 56 inch.

- The total length of the entire system no longer than 160 inch.

- The immersion tank and de-watering shaker shall be able to operate individually while also able to be connected seamlessly for experimental purposes.

- The immersion tank must be able to roll and rotate vegetables, and shall be able to adjust dwell time within the range of 15 to 25 seconds.

- The de-watering shaker shall have a stainless steel filter to remove particulates, and a spray assembly with a shutoff valve at each spray bar to facility final vegetable rinse.

- The pump tank shall be no longer than 40 inch long, and shall have float style pump protection and a solenoid actuated water make-up valve.

- A touch screen control panel.

- All system components shall be made of stainless still.

- The system shall have casters for mobility.

- The manufacturer shall be able to provide onsite installation and training.
