The justification must clearly explain what is unique about the technical features of the product and/or if the identical product is required to maintain continuity of research data).
3. FAR Authority:
FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i).
4. Certification:
I hereby certify that the data provided above is accurate and complete to the best of my knowledge and belief.

| Text1: Exome capture sequencing is an effective method to capture the genomic variation at genic regions in Saccharum spp. The exome consists of the DNA sequences of the protein coding DNAs (CDs) of the genome, which normally counts for a very small portion of the whole genome. To capture these genic regions, the available genic region sequences are required for probe design. Capture sequencing is a targeted method whereby specific DNA or RNA sequences (‘probes’) are used to ‘capture’ similar sequences from an organism, which can then be sequenced to discover important variation. |

RAPiD Genomics has developed a unique set of 32,000 performance-optimized capture probes for sugarcane, and provides services for sequencing and genotyping client-submitted samples using these probes. To our knowledge, only RAPiD Genomics currently possesses an optimized capture probe set designed specifically for sugarcane.
