Q. Is there a previous incumbent for solicitation? If so, may I please have the contract number.
A. Previous Contract # 12305B23P0095
Q. Can this solicitation be subcontracted to a manufacturer of cryogenic gases?
A. Assuming all other contractual requirements are met, the contractor determines the extent of subcontracting to be used for the contract.
Q. What size are the carbon dioxide tanks?
A. 50lb, Size 200, CGA Valve 320, Cylinder Pressure 835
Q. How often are the carbon dioxide tanks typically filled?
A. Every 6 month (USDA owns multiple CO2 tanks and typically use 1 tank every two months. When 3 tanks are empty, we order to refill (changing tanks to filled tanks). Accordingly, we buy 6 tanks per one-year period.
