1. Testings of Botanicals. In section 3, there are items Green Tea, Ginseng, Ginger, cranberry, Ginko biloba, red yeast rice, etc, what are those testing about? Are you looking for specific compounds?

A: In the posted document (sTest subjects.pdf) titled, Attachment A: For each botanical, report identity testing methods and assays for bioactive constituents for which your lab has validated methods.

2. 2. Cranberry - which marker are you interested in?

A: Report identity testing methods and assays for bioactive constituents for which your lab has validated methods. In addition to cranberry, we list these specific tests in Attachment A:

Cranberry proanthocyanidin (PAC) content, HPLC 4-dimethylaminocinnamaldehyde (DMAC) test for cranberry PACs

3. CBD - what would you like us to quantify on?

A: Report identity testing methods and assays for bioactive constituents for which your lab has validated methods

4. Amino acids - are there any particular ones that you are interested in?

A: List your standard amino acid method.

5. Fatty Acids - any particular ones you are interested in?

A: List your standard amino acid method and any additional methods for testing omega-3 fatty acids

6. Ginkgo - are you looking for ginkgolic acid, terpene lactones or flavon glycosides?

A: Report identity testing methods and assays for bioactive constituents for which your lab has validated methods.

7. Total fiber - which method would you prefer? AOAC 991.43, AOAC 2011.25, AOAC 2009.01?

A: List your standard fiber methods.

Note: If the offeror has more than one validated assay for an ingredient (e.g., HPLC-UV and LC-MS-MS), add an extra line to the pricing sheet and list the methods and costs separately.
