Amendment 0002 is hereby executed to answer the following clarifications:

A) Can you provide a summary of total acres of treatment for each of the following:

1. Brush Management (314) – removal of woody plants and controlling noxious and invasive woody plants In 2021: 216.1 acres; In 2022: 55.8 acres

2. Herbaceous Weed Treatment (315) – removal and controlling noxious and invasive herbaceous plants In 2021: 168.15 acres; In 2022: 86.25acres

3. Conservation Cover (327) – planting of native warm season grasses with wildflowers In 2022:

3 acres

4. Tree/Shrub Site Preparation (490) – removal of competing vegetation and debris that would impede the planting or establishment of native shrubs In 2022: 2 acres

5. Tree and Shrub Establishment (612) – planting of shrubs to increase plant diversity and shelter for wildlife In 2022: 300 trees/shrubs (one property)

B) In addition to the acreage total request, do you have detailed information regarding the Conservation Cover (3, above) techniques and crop types? Please see attached Vegetative Treatment Table

C) In addition to the acreage total request, do you have detailed information regarding the Tree/Shrub Site Preparation (4, above) techniques and crop types? Please see attached Vegetative Treatment Table

D) In addition to the acreage total request, do you have detailed information regarding the Tree and Shrub Establishment (4, above) techniques and crop types? Please see attached Vegetative Treatment Table

E) From reading through the RFQ it looks like these sites must be completed within two years, is that correct? Two years is correct, but extensions can be granted if circumstances arise that require additional time for the treatments.

F) In what manner (email, online portal, etc.) and format (MS Word, PDF, certain formatting of the quote breakdown, lumpsum, etc.) should the quote be submitted? Per Section L.2.1 All interested and qualified parties shall provide a quote via email to: kristin.gilliland@usda.gov by 10:00 AM CST on September 1, 2020. The formatting is your choice if you would like to use Word or PDF.

G) Is this project a prevailing wage project? This project does not require Davis Bacon Wage Rates.
