About this file
This document outlines the requirements for an ammunition specification and related federal contract opportunity for initiators to support the F-15 aircraft. The specification requires the contractor to provide advanced shipment notifications, contact the Defense Contract Management Agency for transportation guidance on all foreign military sales deliveries, and include ammunition data cards and hazard classification information for each item. The contractor must also meet requirements for materials, manufacturing, testing, failure analysis reporting, and critical safety items. The related federal contract opportunity is a pre-solicitation to provide specific initiators for the F-15 aircraft ejection system, listing part numbers, quantities, delivery dates to various locations.
