Description of items to be acquired:
The United States Air Force has a requirement for two (2) VP3D spray finishing training systems. The Depot Complex uses the spray paint simulators to teach course MHPMAO0001600SU. The system provides the ability to spray in 3D.
The course MHPMA00001600SU requires the use of the VirtualPaint brand name hardware. The lesson plan details how the students will practice proper paint techniques using the VirtualPaint Platform Hardware. VirtualPaint Products LLC is the only distributor and the manufacturer of the VirtualPaint simulator platform. VirtualPaint Platform Hardware is authorized to be used by Inter-American Air Forces Academy's training course and has been accredited and approved for use by Air Education and Training Command and incorporated into the course's lesson plan. VirtualPaint Platform Hardware was recently purchased by the Pensacola and Shepperd Schoolhouses. In order to foster consistency, efficiency, and knowledge resources, the Government requires the VirtualPaint platform. Government spray paint training will be standardized throughout several organizations. Training standardization will allow trainees to share knowledge on training systems. The result of standardization will allow the Pensacola and Shepperd Schoolhouses and 309 MXSG to share insights and info on how to operate the hardware and other system training knowledge amongst each other.
