Questions: 020-G48-20-0060 ED Physicians
1. How much time will the successful contractor have between date of award and first day of contract performance? We are requesting contractor complete credentialing and pre-security clearance within 30 days after notification of award.
2. Is this a competitive solicitation to continue services already being fulfilled by another contract? If so, can you please share the name of the incumbent contractor? This is a new requirement.
3. The pricing matrix reflects both PA and MD/DO shifts. Does this opportunity include MD/DP and
PA needs? Pricing Schedule is for ABEM/AOBEM physicians.
4. Will the IHS only accept ABEM/AOBEM certified providers? PWS and solicitation both state
ABEM/AOBEM candidates with residency in ER. Candidates that don’t meet this requirement will not be selected.
5. If providers are required to be ABEM/AOBEM certified, is ATLS still a required certification?
ABEM/AOBEM providers are typically not required to have ATLS certification as well. Yes, ATLS is a requirement to work at GIMC as we are a level III Trauma Center.
