Purchase Specification Document

Task:

To update existing Test Program Sets (TPS) and design and build new Test Adaptor Cables (TAC) sets for A-10 aircraft wiring electrical system at Hill Air Force Base. This upgrade will enhance existing testing capabilities to be supported by Eclypse Circuit Analyzers, Automated Wire Test Set (AWTS) at HAFB.

1. Objectives:

1.1 Provide enhanced automated testing capabilities for A-10 aircraft outer wing electrical wiring system

1.1.1 Updated TPS and TAC sets will work seamlessly with acquired Eclypse AWTS equipment at Hill AFB

2. Details:

2.1The TPS enhancement shall include the following:
A user-friendly interface.

Messages and data collection inputs, which collects and provides useable test process information.

Back-end XML data shall be collected and appended to after each test.

The program updates shall include cleanup of variables in XML.

Clean up xml logging.

Bring the program to the latest programming standards.

Enhance Graphical User Interfaces (GUI) to ensure the program is user friendly.

2.1.1 The TACs shall include the following:

Loopbacks to aid in identifying faults in the TACs; to confirm they are verified good.

Add loopbacks to the TAC for debug capabilities.

3. Deliverables:

3.1 Deliverables will Include packaging and shipping to HAFB, Utah for which the government will provide a physical ship to address at award.

3.1.1 The requirement deliverables are developed items.

2 EA. – TPS TAC Set. A-10 Left and Right Wing (Outer Wing) TPS.

1 EA. – OTPS, A-10 Left & Right Wing (Outer Wing) Test – update to existing Eclypse ELITE Operating System Software to the A-10 outer wing continuity test program.

4. Period of Performance & Warranty

4.1 The period of performance 180 days.

4.1.1 Warranty 12 months from delivery to HAFB and acceptance by 309 AMXG A-10 EN POC.
