HIGH RESOLUTION WAVEFRONT SENSOR
STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW)
1.0 BACKGROUND
The Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) requires a High Resolution Wavefront Sensor for Rapid Prototype, Experimentation and Demonstration (RPED) Programs. The sensor will improve the capability of the RPED Programs to characterize lasers and optical systems within the RPED Family of Lasers.
2.0 APPLICABLE DOCUMENTS
2.1 Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Specifications;
3.0 REQUIREMENTS
3.1 The contractor shall provide one (1) SID4-HR Wavefront
Sensor with dedicated alignment pinhole that meets the following requirements and technical specifications:
Utilize silicon focal plane array detector with responsivity from at least 400-1100nm.
Focal plane frame rate of greater than 10 Hz.
Focal plane analysis rate of greater than 3 Hz.
Perform achromatic wavefront measurement from 400-1100nm, with simultaneous wavelengths across the band.
Utilize Quadriwave Lateral Shearing Interferometry method.
Phase lateral resolution of 29.6um.
Phase measurement format of 300x400 phase pixels.
Absolute phase measurement accuracy of less than 20 nanometers
RMS.
Phase dynamic range of up to f/1 without using relay lenses.
Detector aperture dimensions of at least 8mm by 11mm.
Rcube, or equivalent, measurement accessory providing a collimated 632.8nm test beam for wavefront testing of optical components. The test beam dimensions must be at least the dimensions of the detector.
3.1.1 The contractor shall include Camera power supply and
trigger cable (Giga-Ethernet cable);
3.1.2 The contractor shall include Laptop computer with SID4
software;
3.1.3 The contractor shall include software license; and
3.1.4 The contractor shall include a User Manual.
3.2 The contractor shall provide one (1) demonstration system for training which includes the following: LED source visible range, demonstration SID4-HR Wavefront Sensor, demonstration laptop computer with SID4 software installed.
3.3 The contractor shall provide guided setup of the SID4-HR
Wavefront Sensor and data recording software.
3.3.1 The contractor shall perform source characterization
demonstration using contractor demonstration kit.
3.4 The contractor shall provide a demonstration of the
following: Data acquisition, recording and laser collimation.
3.5 The contractor shall ship the system to the NSWCDD located in Dahlgren, Virginia.
3.6 The contractor shall coordinate all work with the technical point of contact identified below.
4.0 GOVERNMENT-FURNISHED PROPERTY/MATERIAL/INFORMATION
(GFP/GFM/GFI)
4.1 The government will provide access to the conference rooms for work completion.
4.2 The government will provide all supporting infrastructure to complete the work to include electrical power, a projector with
HDMI and VGA connectors, cables, and a projection screen.
5.0 SECURITY
All work to be performed under this contract is unclassified.
6.0 TRAVEL
The contractor will be required to travel in performance of this contract. The number of trips and types of personnel traveling shall be limited to the minimum required to accomplish work requirements and must be coordinated with the technical point of contact. All travel shall be conducted in accordance with the
Federal Travel Regulations (FTR). The following travel is anticipated: Two (2) personnel to Dahlgren, Virginia throughout the period of performance.
