Statement of Work for Repair ProOceanus Co2 Pro CV Sensor Requisition: 40425030

1.0 Introduction

The Ecosystem Processes Impacting Coastal Change (EPIC) project, Task 1 at the St. Petersburg Coastal and Marine Science Center provides research results on seawater carbon monitoring sites within Tampa Bay and in the Gulf of Mexico. These underwater sites utilize CO2 sensors to measure changes in seawater chemistry within Tampa Bay relative to open marine seawater conditions. The sensor was purchased in 2012. The sensors are regularly retrieved, maintained and re-deployed.

2.0 BACKGROUND

The CO2-Pro CV Sensor was deployed when the equipment flooded in November 2018. The sensor was retrieved and sent to the manufacturer for a repair estimate. The vendor Pro Oceanus evaluated and confirmed the equipment could be repaired in early December 2018. The equipment has remained at the vendor’s location during December (holiday’s) and the unexpected lengthy Government Shutdown.
