About this file

This document contains packaging instructions and specifications for wood materials used in shipping items under a federal contract. The instructions specify that all wood lumber, pallets, and containers produced entirely or partially from wood packaging material must be constructed from debarked wood and heat treated to a minimum temperature of 56 degrees Celsius for 30 minutes. The wood materials must be certified as complying with these specifications by an accredited agency recognized by the American Lumber Standards Committee. Related procurement information indicates the Air Force Sustainment Center intends to award a firm-fixed-price replenishment contract for A-10 aircraft access doors to the responsible offeror providing the most advantageous proposal meeting the requirements in solicitation FA8212-21-R-0013. Interested parties should request data package access through the System for Award Management and contact the identified point of contact.
