STATEMENT OF WORK
PR# NFFS7100-23-02686
PURPOSE:
We have exposed snow and Tanner crabs to different pH levels and need to have the metal (cation) concentrations analyzed on 570 samples.
IT REQUIRMENTS:
This order WILL NOT require assignment of a user account and access to the DOC data systems. This contractor WILL NOT have access to and use Government hardware, application software, system software or sensitive data. This service WILL NOT be performed on federal government property. No IT security consideration and controls will be necessary.
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS:
Must measure the concentrations of Calcium and Sodium ions in a dry sample with an accuracy of at least
0.1 parts per thousand. Performed via inductively coupled plasma-optical emission spectrometry or analytical equivalent.
Must be able to work with samples as small as 10 mg.
Must provide results in a file via e-mail within 30 days of sample submission.
Period of Performance: August 31, 2023 to August 31, 2024
