The US Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City District, has a requirement for Construction and or repair of bank stabilization and navigation protection structures (dikes and revetments) on the Missouri River between river mile 0 (near St. Louis, MO) and river mile 500 (near Rulo, NE). Repair work involves placing new quarry run stone onto the structures as well as excavating notches, and potentially salvaging rock from specified dikes and revetments. Rock placement and notching will be completed primarily through use of floating plant (rock barges, towboats, loading barges and work barges with a track hoe and or drag line) with the capability to draft 6 feet of water in certain areas.
