The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Procurement and Grants Office (PGO), International Branch, has awarded a Master IDIQ for the acquisition of Blood Safety Technical Assistance Services to be provided in up to 37 foreign countries in support of the U.S. President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR). Blood safety technical assistance services provided by the contractors are in the areas of: Policy and Guideline Development and Governance; Infrastructure and Capacity Building; Blood Collection; Testing and Production of Blood and Blood Products; Transfusion and Utilization; Monitoring and Evaluation; Training; Sustainability; and Quality Control/Assurance and Management in countries and regions supported by the PEPFAR program.
