The purpose of this Master IDIQ is to provide USAID and its partner countries with the broad range of technical assistance necessary to develop and implement appropriate and meaningful strategies to fight corruption and ensure accountability in public life. USAID defines corruption as the abuse of entrusted authority for private gain. This activity focuses on unilateral abuses by governmental officials such as embezzlement and nepotism, as well as abuses linking public and private actors such as bribery, extortion, influence peddling, and fraud, and at both lower and higher levels of government and the public sector.
