L3Harris Maritime Services Inc. was awarded an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract by the Department of the Army Materiel Command TACOM Life Cycle Management Command to provide pier-side sustainment maintenance services for various watercraft classes in Zone 3, which includes Northeast and Southeast Asia and the Central Pacific Coast region. The potential value of the multiple award contract is $186 million.

Under the contract, L3Harris will combine its pierside efforts for unprogrammed maintenance, emergency repair, modification, and modernization efforts that do not require the use of a dry dock for U.S. Army vessels located anywhere in the world. The originating solicitation sought industry feedback to inform full and open competition for individually competed vessels requiring scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, repairs, certifications and inspections to be performed at vessel home stations or duty locations under the Army Watercraft Sustainment Maintenance program.

L3Harris has also received a $1,000 firm fixed price delivery order against the contract for start of work in Norfolk, Virginia by February 26, 2021. The delivery order was issued by the Department of the Army Acquisition Support Center PEO Combat Support and Combat Service Support in support of Army watercraft asset maintenance and sustainment.
