The U.S. Department of the Army's Program Executive Office (PEO) Ammunition has awarded General Dynamics OTS (Wilkes Barre), LLC, a subsidiary of defense contractor General Dynamics Corporation, an Indefinite Delivery Contract (IDC) valued up to $891,165,000 for the production and delivery of large caliber 155mm and 120mm metal parts. This single-award contract, which has no set-aside designation, has a period of performance extending through July 2024. Under this IDC, PEO Ammunition has issued multiple delivery orders to General Dynamics OTS (Wilkes Barre) for the manufacture of 155mm M795 metal parts, 120mm mortar shell bodies, and other artillery and ammunition components to support the Army's modernization efforts and replenishment of Ukraine's defense stockpile. The work will be performed at General Dynamics' facilities in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. The fixed-price with economic price adjustment contract structure ensures stable delivery of critical munitions materials to the warfighter.
In addition to the main IDC, PEO Ammunition has awarded General Dynamics OTS (Wilkes Barre) a separate $215 million IDIQ contract for property management services at the Scranton Army Ammunition Plant. These complementary contract vehicles demonstrate the company's position as a major prime contractor providing a range of large caliber metal parts, munitions components, and support services to the U.S. Army's ammunition and weapons modernization programs.
