The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Land and Maritime component has awarded a series of delivery orders under an Indefinite Delivery Contract (IDC) to Hydraulics International, Inc., a small business manufacturer of hydraulic components, systems, and equipment based in Chatsworth, California. The IDC has a ceiling value of $250,000 and a one-year performance period, allowing DLA to efficiently procure a variety of standard hydraulic parts, hardware items, and protective equipment utilized across military vehicles, vessels, aircraft, and systems.
The delivery orders awarded to date under this IDC total approximately $12,455 and cover the procurement of fluid filter elements with various national stock numbers. These firm fixed-price orders do not have small business set-aside designations. Hydraulics International has an extensive history of providing hydraulic components and related items to the Department of Defense, including through previous IDC awards from DLA Aviation and Land and Maritime. The original solicitation for this IDC indicated it may result in an automated IDC with an estimated 12 orders per year and a guaranteed minimum quantity of 36 items to be delivered to DLA depots in the continental United States and outside the continental United States.
