The Seaport Next Generation (Seaport-NXG) IDIQ contract is a multiple-award vehicle awarded by the Department of the Navy Naval Sea Systems Command to provide engineering, technical, and programmatic support services across 23 functional areas. As a prime contractor, Spalding Consulting Inc., a small business professional services firm, has been awarded several delivery orders under this IDIQ with a total potential value of over $400 million. The delivery orders cover a range of IT and program management support services for the Naval Air Systems Command and Naval Air Warfare Center, including IT logistics systems life cycle support, aviation product lifecycle management IT services, application integration and business intelligence, and general project management and technical support. The work is primarily performed in Maryland on a cost-plus-fixed-fee basis. Spalding Consulting has experience supporting naval aviation platforms and weapons systems as both a prime and subcontractor. The original Seaport-NXG procurement was a full and open competition with no set-aside designations, open to qualified small and large businesses in the professional, scientific, and technical services industry.
