USAID/Mozambique awarded a single-award indefinite delivery contract to CMC Africa Austral LDA to provide construction services across northern, central, and southern Mozambique. With a potential value of $14 million and a period of performance through June 2027, this IDC enables USAID to issue fixed-price task orders for individual infrastructure projects valued at a minimum of $7,500 each. The original solicitation sought proposals for multiple IDIQ contracts with an aggregate $70 million ceiling to execute new construction, renovation, and facility maintenance for USAID projects. Eligible offerors were required to hold a Class V construction license in Mozambique. Under third-party oversight by USAID's A&E contractor, the prime contractor will carry out structural assessments, water/sanitation systems installation, building, road, and energy construction. The evaluation criteria included organizational structure, management plan, and relevant experience. This IDC and associated task orders aim to support USAID/Mozambique's implementation of infrastructure development initiatives across health, education, and other sectors in the country's 11 provinces. The contracting structure provides flexibility to address a variety of construction needs for the Agency's development programs over five years.
