Added: Jul 20, 2016 4:34 pm U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), a component of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), intends to solicit an innovative Performance Work Statement (PWS) that addresses the needs and concerns of ICE in order to contract for Detention Management, Transportation and Food Services for the Florence Service Processing Center (SPC) located at:3250 North Pinal ParkwayFlorence, AZ 85132The services required for this facility may include all contract management, supervision, trained personnel, equipment, materials, supplies, licenses, permits, certificates, pre-employment screenings, administration, and any other resources necessary to provide various Detention Management, Transportation and Food Services for detainees at the Florence SPC. In addition, all Contractors shall be licensed as a qualified security service company in accordance with all laws, statutes, and regulations of the State of Arizona, and the Contractor shall be responsible for maintaining current permits/business licenses throughout the term of the contract. The Government anticipates awarding an eight (8) year and six (6) months Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. The agreement will consist of one (1) sixty (60) day transition, one (1) ten (10) month base period and seven (7) one (1) year options, followed by a six (6) months extension in accordance with FAR 52.217-8 using fixed unit pricing. The Service Contract Act is applicable to this acquisition. All required clauses, provisions and transportation routes will be included in the solicitation and resulting contractual instrument.This procurement is being competed as under full and open competition guidelines. The anticipated release date of the solicitation is on or about August 5, 2016. The solicitation closing date will be approximately thirty (30) to sixty (60) days after release of the Request for Proposal (RFP). All interested vendors submitting proposals as the prime contractor will be required to attend a mandatory site visit on September 1, 2016. Amendments to this synopsis will be made as needed and posted to FedBizOpps.gov.
