THE GRANT WILL ALSO REPLACE 4 PARATRANSIT VEHICLES (3 2009 1 2016) THAT HAVE MET USEFUL LIFE BALANCE AND MILEAGE. FINALLY WE PLAN TO CONDUCT INTERIOR DESIGN AND RENOVATION IN OUR ADMIN/MAINTENANCE FACILITY TO IMPROVE FUNCTIONALITY AND ADDRESS ADA AND STRUCTURAL ISSUES.; ACTIVITIES PERFORMED: CAMERAS WILL BE REPLACED AT TWO PROPERTY LOCATIONS TO PROVIDE ADDITIONAL SECURITY FOR RIDERS AND EMPLOYEES. A NEW CAMERA SYSTEM WILL BE INSTALLED ON FIXED-ROUTE BUSES AND PARATRANSIT VEHICLES TO ALLOW FOR EASIER ACCESS TO FOOTAGE AND HIGHER RESOLUTION OF ACTIVITIES OCCURRING ON BUSES. BROKEN AND OBSOLETE ELECTRONIC DESTINATION SIGNS WILL BE REPLACED ON FIXED-ROUTE BUSES TO GIVE A VISUAL NOTIFICATION TO RIDERS NEEDING TO KNOW WHAT ROUTE/DESTINATION THE BUS IS TRAVELING. FOUR DEMAND RESPONSE PARATRANSIT VEHICLES THAT HAVE MET USEFUL LIFE WILL BE REPLACED. THIS WILL ALLOW RYDE RACINE TO PROVIDE RELIABLE SERVICE WITH REDUCED MAINTENANCE COSTS. DESIGN AND ENGINEERING OF ADMINISTRATIVE/MAINTENANCE FACILITIES WILL BE CONDUCTED TO IMPROVE INTERIOR FUNCTIONALITY ADDRESS ADA AND STRUCTURAL ISSUES. THE WORK WILL INCLUDE INTERIOR RENOVATION OF ADMINISTRATIVE/MAINTENANCE FACILITIES.; EXPECTED OUTCOMES: REPLACEMENT OF AGED AND NON-FUNCTIONING EQUIPMENT WITH EQUIPMENT THAT IS RELIABLE EASIER FOR EMPLOYEES TO USE AND WILL ENHANCE SERVICE PROVIDED TO RIDERS. REDUCED COST TO MAINTAIN AGED PARATRANSIT FLEET. IMPROVED AND COMPLIANT WORKSPACE FOR EMPLOYEES AND MECHANICS AT FACILITIES.; INTENDED BENEFICIARIES: RIDERS DRIVERS AND MECHANICS WILL BENEFIT FROM ALL IMPROVEMENTS LISTED.
