ACTIVITIES TO BE PERFORMED:PROJECT 1) OPERATING ASSISTANCE FOR FIXED ROUTE AND PARATRANSIT - PRE-AWARD AUTHORITY WILL BE UTILIZED IN THE AMOUNT OF $2855277 STARTING ON JUNE 21 2022.PROJECT 2) PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE FOR VEHICLES - PRE-AWARD AUTHORITY WILL BE UTILIZED IN THE AMOUNT OF $685060 STARTING ON JUNE 21 2022.PROJECT 3) CAPITAL PURCHASE 2 REPLACEMENT BUSES PRE-AWARD AUTHORITY WAS USED TO ORDER THE VEHICLES IN THE AMOUNT OF $857622. THE VEHICLES WILL BE DELIVERED AND PAID FOR LATER THIS FALL. THE 1% SECURITY REQUIREMENT WILL BE MET WITH THE INSTALLATION OF NEW CAMERAS ON THE TWO NEW BUSES THAT ARE BEING PURCHASED. THE PURCHASE OF TWO NEW 35-FOOT BUSES MEANS THAT SUNTRANS FLEET WILL BE MORE RELIABLE AND THERE SHOULD BE FEWER PART-RELATED ISSUES THAN WITH THE OLDER BUSES IN THE FLEET. INTENDED BENEFICIARIES:THE FUNDS WILL BE USED FOR OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE OF THE BUSES AND VANS USED TO PROVIDE FIXED ROUTE AND PARATRANSIT SERVICES TO THE CITIZENS OF ST. GEORGE AND THE NEIGHBORING CITIES OF WASHINGTON AND IVINS.SUBRECIPIENT ACTIVITIES:N/ATHE LOCAL MATCH WILL COME FROM CITY OF ST. GEORGE TRANSPORTATION FUNDS.
