The Louis Armstrong House Museum will preserve a collection of collages created by renowned jazz musician Louis Armstrong, with funding support from a $275,834 Project Grant awarded by the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) under the Save America's Treasures program. The Museum will stabilize 77 of the 700 collages Armstrong made out of photographs, newspaper clippings and other ephemera from his Queens, New York home.
