The National Park Service (NPS), in partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts, National Endowment for the Humanities, and Institute of Museum and Library Services, awarded a $277,189 Save America's Treasures (CFDA 15.929) project grant to the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center in Waterford, CT. The grant will fund structural rehabilitation, new insulation, and new siding for the Monte Cristo Cottage, a National Historic Landmark owned by the theater center. This physical preservation project requires a dollar-for-dollar non-federal match that can be provided in cash or in-kind contributions. The Save America's Treasures program supports preservation and conservation of nationally significant historic properties and collections.
