THIS COVID FUNDING (ARPA) IS AWARDED ALONG WITH CRRSSA FUNDING AND CORE OPERATING ASSISTANCE IN OTHER GRANTS TO SUPPORT THE PERFORMANCE OF PROVIDING OPERATING SERVICES TO ADDRESS THE IMPACTS OF THE PANDEMIC ON THESE SERVICES.; EXPECTED OUTCOMES: FUNDING WILL PERMIT NYSDOT AND ITS SUBRECIPIENTS TO CONTINUE TO PROVIDE SERVICE FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES AND OLDER ADULTS.; INTENDED BENEFICIARIES: PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES AND OLDER ADULTS.; SUBRECIPIENT ACTIVITIES: ALL FOUR PROJECTS IN THIS GRANT WILL PROVIDE OPERATING ASSISTANCE BASED ON THE AVAILABLE FUNDING ALLOCATED TO NEW YORK STATE. THERE ARE CURRENTLY 8 AWARDS IN THE NYMTC URBAN AREA; 7 AWARDS IN THE FIVE OTHER TMA AREAS IN THE MID-HUDSON AND UPSTATE AREA; 7 AWARDS IN THE SMALL URBAN AREAS IN NEW YORK STATE (SUZAS); AND 10 AWARDS IN THE NON-URBANIZED AREA IN THE STATE. EACH OF THESE AWARDS WILL PROVIDE FUNDING TO SUPPORT THE OPERATING ASSISTANCE TO THE SUB-RECIPIENTS TO SUPPORT THE MOBILITY AND NECESSARY SUPPORT TO THE TARGET POPULATION.
