This $600,000 federal Project Grant, awarded by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) under the Community Health Centers program (CFDA 93.224), will enable Santa Rosa Community Health (SRCH) to expand mental health and substance use disorder (SUD) services at three of its primary care clinics in Santa Rosa, California. The funding will allow SRCH to hire three primary care behavioral health providers, one at each of its largest clinics (Dutton, Lombardi, and Vista), and provide training for primary care teams on the integrated primary care behavioral health (PCBH) model. This will enable SRCH to increase the number of patients receiving mental health and SUD services, particularly among its underserved patient population, which includes low-income, uninsured, and racial/ethnic minority individuals, as well as youth and those experiencing homelessness. The award period runs from September 1, 2024 through August 31, 2026.
