ECONOMIC DISTRESS FROM RECENT INDUSTRIAL CLOSURES IN THE REGION WAS COMPOUNDED BY THE IMPACTS OF SEVERE STORMS THAT STRUCK THE DULUTH REGION OF LAKE SUPERIOR IN 2022.
