This $2.8 million Economic Development Administration project grant funds the University of New Mexico-Taos Hive Pollinator: All Hands-on Tech program. The program aims to build an entrepreneurial ecosystem in northern New Mexico by supporting at least 20 new technology startups through three main activities. First, it will create Taos-targeted content to inspire and foster tech entrepreneurship. Second, it will support a knowledge sharing and mentorship program for the local tech ecosystem. Third, it will manage the Hive Pollinator hybrid tech incubator/accelerator program. As part of the EDA's BUILD TO SCALE program focused on growing technology-based economic development ecosystems, this grant supports the University of New Mexico-Taos in delivering customized business support, incubation, and acceleration services to spur entrepreneurship and scaleups in the region from October 2022 through September 2025.
