The Department of Agriculture's Rural Utilities Service awarded a $221,000 Project Grant to the non-profit organization TKC Fish Wheel. This 2-year grant, running from July 2023 to July 2025, supports the organization's efforts to effectively utilize local wood resources, provide technical assistance on wood utilization technologies and products, and extend affordable housing construction in Alaska.
