The California Center For Cooperation Development (CCCD) was awarded a $175,000 Project Grant from the United States Department of Agriculture Rural Housing Service under the Rural Cooperative Development Grants program (RCDG, CFDA 10.771).
The two-year grant will support CCCD's efforts to improve economic conditions for minority agricultural producers in California through technical assistance for startup, expansion, and operational improvement of rural cooperatives and mutually-owned businesses. As the sole sub-awardee, CCCD will deliver services statewide through September 2024 to help address persistent poverty among minority populations in rural communities.
