THE EXPECTED OUTCOMES INCLUDE: - KC NATTS LIKE SITE TO COMPARE TO BLAIR ST NATTS LIKE SITE. FINDING OUT WHAT AIR TOXICS ARE PRESENT IN EJ COMMUNITY. CHARACTERIZING AMBIENT LEVELS OF AIR TOXICS WITHIN COMMUNITIES, AREAS, OR REGIONS. PROVIDING QUALITY ASSURED HAPS DATA FOR TRENDS DETERMINATION. - APCP SENIOR TOXICOLOGIST WILL PREPARE ANNUAL REPORT. DIRECTLY EVALUATING PUBLIC EXPOSURE AND ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACTS IN THE VICINITY OF MONITORS. PROVIDING QUALITY ASSURED HAPS DATA FOR RISK CHARACTERIZATION. - PURCHASING REPLACEMENT EQUIPMENT FOR EXISTING NATTS SITE AT BLAIR STREET. - EXISTING MULTIPOLLUTANT SITES. UPGRADING SITE CALIBRATORS TO ALLOW FOR AUTOCHECKS. UPGRADING AND REPLACING AGING EQUIPMENT. EQUIPMENT REPLACEMENT FOR QUALITY ASSURANCE UNIT. - ATTENDANCE AT THE NATIONAL AMBIENT AIR MONITORING CONFERENCE. - PURCHASE NEW NO2 DIRECT ANALYZERS AND TRACE CALIBRATORS TO PLACE AT EXISTING OZONE MONITORING LOCATIONS. - PERFORM A DATA ANALYSIS OF NO2 DATA IN AN EFFORT TO OBTAIN A BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF OZONE FORMATION IN THE ST. LOUIS AREA. - PURCHASE A NEW SHELTER FOR TRAINING STAFF RESPONSIBLE FOR AIR MONITORING ACTIVITIES. - PURCHASE SEVEN NEW SHELTERS TO REPLACE AGING SHELTERS IN OUR NETWORK. THE INTENDED BENEFICIARIES INCLUDE THE CITIZENS OF THE STATE OF MISSOURI, CITIZENS OF KANSAS CITY AND ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI.
