The University of Arizona has been awarded a $125,000 Project Grant from the National Science Foundation's Office of Advanced Cyberinfrastructure under the Computer and Information Science and Engineering program (CFDA 47.070). This collaborative research project aims to develop a "T3-CIDERS" train-the-trainer program that will increase the literacy, accessibility, and adoption of advanced cyberinfrastructure techniques, tools, and platforms in cybersecurity and cyber-related disciplines. The program will train faculty, researchers, and graduate students across multiple states, who will then disseminate this knowledge and skillset to a broader audience of students, researchers, and K-12 communities, particularly those from underrepresented groups. The project will also create an open online learning environment to further broaden access to computational and data science capabilities relevant to cybersecurity research and practice. This three-year initiative is expected to have significant societal impacts in workforce development, innovative curriculum, and support for diverse communities in the field of cybersecurity.
