This two-year, $199,923 National Science Foundation project grant supports research at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs to develop efficient and adaptive frameworks for real-time processing on next-generation edge computing platforms. Funded through NSF's Engineering Directorate and its Computer and Information Science and Engineering program, this work will advance models, architectures, methodologies and prototypes for performing real-time processing at the network edge. Beginning January 1, 2022 and concluding December 31, 2023, this grant will fund the Regents of the University of Colorado to conduct research that aims to improve real-time computing capabilities on emerging edge devices and networks.
