The Research Foundation of the City University of New York was awarded a $495,000 Project Grant from the National Science Foundation Division of Chemistry under the Mathematical and Physical Sciences program (CFDA 47.049) to support work on "Nanoelectrochemistry with Carbon Nanoprobes" from July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2024. The grant funding will enable researchers at Queens College to advance understanding of major problems in the mathematical and physical sciences through progressing nanoelectrochemistry techniques using carbon nanoprobes. Specifically, the grant will support the development and application of carbon nanoprobe technologies to investigate electrochemical phenomena at the nanoscale level. Insights gained from this work have the potential to strengthen the nation's scientific enterprise and increase fundamental knowledge in chemistry and materials science.
