The Environmental Protection Agency Region 10 awarded a $165,149 Project Grant to the Coeur D'Alene Tribe under the Consolidated Pesticide Enforcement Cooperative Agreements program (CFDA 66.700) for the period of October 1, 2022 through September 30, 2023. The Tribe will implement pesticide regulatory and enforcement programs including compliance monitoring, enforcement activities, pesticide applicator training, and public outreach and education. The programs are intended to enhance protection of human health, water resources, and endangered species from pesticide exposure on the Coeur D'Alene Reservation in Idaho. No subawards are included under this assistance agreement. The funding will support improved pesticide oversight and enforcement to benefit the environment and public health.
