The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) awarded a $109,846 Formula Grant under the Projects for Assistance in Transition from Homelessness (PATH) program (CFDA 93.150) to the Guam Behavioral Health & Wellness Center (GBHWC). The grant will support comprehensive services for individuals in Guam experiencing serious mental illness, co-occurring substance abuse disorders, and homelessness or imminent risk of homelessness. Funded services include outreach, screening, diagnostic treatment, rehabilitation, community mental health services, substance abuse treatment, case management, residential supportive services, and housing assistance. GBHWC, the sole state mental health agency for the U.S. territory of Guam, will directly provide these services and may sub-award portions of the funding to local non-profit organizations, community mental health centers, housing authorities, and other service providers. The award period is from September 1, 2024 to August 31, 2026.
