The Oklahoma Department of Human Services received a $271,955 Formula Grant award from the U.S. Department of Education's Office of Special Education and Rehabilitative Services under the Randolph-Sheppard – Financial Relief and Restoration Payments federal grant program (CFDA 84.426). The grant funding will provide financial relief and restoration payments to offset losses incurred by blind vendors in Oklahoma during calendar year 2020 as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, where those losses were not otherwise compensated. The funding will also support the state's Business Enterprises program for the blind over the grant period spanning May 5, 2021 through September 30, 2022.
