THIS AGREEMENT IS TO THE MARYLAND DEPARTMENT OF THE ENVIRONMENT TO IMPLEMENT A PROGRAM OF VOLUNTARY TESTING FOR LEAD IN DRINKING WATER AT LOCAL SCHOOLS AND CHILD CARE CENTERS. SPECIFICALLY, THE RECIPIENT WILL USE THE FUNDS TO: 1) ASSIST LICENSED CHILD CARE FACILITIES TO TEST FOR LEAD IN THEIR DRINKING WATER; 2) PROVIDE FUNDS TO TEST FOR LEAD IN DRINKING WATER IN SCHOOLS BUILT PRIOR TO 1988 WHICH IS REQUIRED BY STATE LAW.
