DESCRIPTION:THIS AGREEMENT PROVIDES FUNDING TO BELMONT COUNTY WATER AND SEWER DISTRICT TO IMPLEMENT ITS PROJECT TO MAKE IMPROVEMENTS TO THEIR SANITARY SEWER SYSTEM AS DIRECTED IN THE 2023 CONSOLIDATED APPROPRIATIONS ACT OR AS IDENTIFIED IN AN APPROVED TECHNICAL CORRECTION IF ONE HAS BEEN APPROVED FOR THIS PROJECT.ACTIVITIES:THE ACTIVITIES TO BE PERFORMED ARE CONSTRUCTION OF APPROXIMATELY 6,820 LF 12' PVC GRAVITY FORCE MAIN RUNNING FROM PASCO DRIVE TO THE TAFLAN TANK TO REPLACE THE EXISTING 8' GRAVITY FORCE MAIN. THE PROJECT ALSO INCLUDES THE REFURBISHMENT OF THE TOPS OF 25 MANHOLES ON THE EXISTING 12' GRAVITY SEWER LINE.SUBRECIPIENT:NO SUBAWARDS ARE INCLUDED IN THIS ASSISTANCE AGREEMENT.OUTCOMES:THE ANTICIPATED DELIVERABLES ARE REPLACEMENT OF EXISTING GRAVITY FORCE MAIN AND REFURBISHMENT OF EXISTING MANHOLES, WHICH ARE EXPECTED TO LEAD TO INCREASED SEWAGE CAPACITY AND REDUCED ODOR ISSUES FOR RESIDENTS OF BELMONT COUNTY.
