The Military Sealift Command awarded a firm fixed price purchase order valued at $2.8 million to Santorini Tanker LLC, doing business as C/O OSG Ship Management, to transport a minimum of 280,000 barrels of jet fuel from St. Theodore, Greece to Mesaieed, Qatar via the Suez Canal. As the prime contractor, Santorini Tanker will utilize one of its double hull tankers between 200,000 and 45,000 deadweight tons, with a 14 meter manifold height, to deliver the cargo from September 6 through 8, 2021 in accordance with regulatory and contractual standards. There is no set-aside designation for this requirement. The funding agency, the Department of the Navy's Military Sealift Command, issued a solicitation seeking offers for the charter of a qualified vessel to transport the fuel from the Mediterranean to the Middle East in support of the Command's petroleum logistics operations.
