COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION:This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation is attached. Solicitation FA4600-17-R-0008 incorporates provisions and clauses effective through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-83, dated 2 Jul 15. This requirement is set-aside 100% for Small Business. North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 541330 - Engineering Services, with a size standard of $15.0M. All qualified small businesses under this industry are encouraged to submit a proposal.DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT:High-Altitude Electromagnetic Pulse (HEMP) Hardness Maintenance/Hardness Surveillance (HM/HS) Engineering/Technical SupportThe Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, supervision and other items and services to perform High-Altitude Electromagnetic Pulse (HEMP) Hardness Maintenance/Hardness Surveillance (HM/HS) in accordance with MIL-STD-188-125 paragraph 4.5, HEMP protection upgrades and modifications, engineering studies and the preventative and corrective maintenance and testing for Electromagnetic Pulse (EMP) Shields at Buildings 523, 597, 598 and 1000 at Offutt AFB, Nebraska.
