RECOVERY - Sunland Park Construction of Levee Improvements
Added: Apr 16, 2010 2:09 pm RECOVERY - Provide all plant, labor, material, subcontract, supervision, management and overhead for the construction of levee improvements for the Sunland Park Phase 1 levee segments. This estimated 12.8 miles of levee segments have an estimated magnitude of between $10,000,000 and $20,000,000 million. The levee segments are located between Borderland Bridge and the Rio Grande Power Plant on both sides of the Rio Grande. This requirement is set-aside for small business participation only under NAICS code 237990, Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction. Levee improvements will consist of 1) raising the top-of-the levee elevation, 2) providing seepage control structures as required, and 3) rehabilitating existing pipeline/culvert structures and appurtenances located within the levees by modifying them to be in accordance with the raised levee cross section, repairing gates and gate-wells as required, and adding gates to un-grated structures. The contractor shall construct the rehabilitation improvements for the existing levee and modifications to affected structures as per design and specifications. Solicitation, plans and specifications will be posted on or about April 30, 2010. Bids are due 30 days from posting of the solicitation. All responsible small business sources may submit a bid which will be considered by this agency.
